This pattern was a really lovely sew. Vanessa’s Instructions are clear, well thought out and include picture references. I had never done a Pin Hem and found her instructions to be concise and easy to follow. My first pin hem turned out beautifully thanks to her well-written instruction.

So, what are you waiting for… go get yourself a copy!

The features of this pattern that I love are: the asymmetric skirt pieces which give it a really pleasing shape; the split for some peekaboo Jessica Rabbit style sexiness and the waistband, which makes the dress really fitted and stylish.

This pattern takes a little bit of work and precision, it’s not a quick make, but I think you’ll agree that the end result is more than worth it.

I absolutely adore the dress - I don't usually do floaty dresses but you just may have converted me!

The details and techniques at the front of the booklet were really helpful. It was my first time doing a pin hem and I think I’ll definitely use the technique in the future.
